The Elynxo Goniometer Deployed Alongside Allied Forces During DACIAN FALL
As part of the DACIAN FALL exercise, held in Romania, NATO allied forces conducted a series of high-level tactical maneuvers involving a multinational brigade. This exercise is part of a Final Tactical Exercise (FTX) cycle aimed at validating the operational know-how of the participating units across different branches and allied forces.
The GP2M at the Heart of Mortar Operations
In this demanding operational environment, the GP2M goniometer developed by Elynxo was deployed with 120 mm mortar teams. The equipment proved its ability to meet field constraints, particularly during operations in unfamiliar areas and under time pressure.
Thanks to the GP2M, the teams were able to:
Validate the durability and reliability of the equipment under real intensive training conditions.
Adjust aiming with high precision, ensuring accurate fire from the first battery deployment.
Significantly reduce setup time, enhancing unit responsiveness and maneuverability.
Operate both day and night, thanks to an integrated non-tritium lighting system, ensuring safe use and operational continuity.
A Tool Suited to NATO Interoperability Requirements
The use of the GP2M during DACIAN FALL fully demonstrates its compatibility with interoperability requirements among allied forces. Its ease of use, precision, and durability make it a tool perfectly suited to multinational contexts and modern operational engagements.
Field Validation Serving the Armed Forces
This operational experience confirms the GP2M’s status as a benchmark goniometer, designed to reliably support armed forces in their missions, from training to active operational deployment.
