New name, new ambitions

Historically established in optronics and precision mechanics since 1987, SCROME asserts its development strategy in high-value markets by adopting its new name: ELYNXO, and renewing its visual identity.

Historically established in optronics and precision mechanics since 1987, SCROME asserts its development strategy in high-value markets by adopting its new name: ELYNXO, and renewing its visual identity.

Undergoing profound transformation since 2016, particularly in research and innovation, the group is thus acquiring a bold and universal image that reflects the ambitions of the group and its operational subsidiaries, Elynxo Mechanics, Elynxo Optronics, and soon Elynxo Sport Optics.

The consolidation of its historical expertise in engineering, optics, precision mechanics, and electronics allows Elynxo to offer:

  • A wide range of high-value-added products such as embedded systems for aiming, navigation, or observation, complex optronic and mechanical equipment and subassemblies, for military as well as civilian applications, and targeting markets such as aerospace, naval, land, as well as nuclear and oil & gas.
  • A new service offering focused on providing its engineering and industrial production skills for complex objects, made possible by highly qualified personnel and high-level infrastructure, enabling it to address complex retrofit needs, for example.
  • A premium and innovative offer in Sport Optics.

This approach is accompanied by continuous improvement of Elynxo’s organization, resources, knowledge, teams, and infrastructure. This was reflected in 2021 by the group-level standardization of ISO 9001 v2015 certification, which will be followed by EN9100 Certification.

More modern, better equipped, and ideally located, new premises designed and financed by the group will be completed in mid-2022 for operational installation in early 2023; they will reflect the company’s interest in its environmental impact and anticipate its growth while ensuring the sustainability of its presence in France with a complete value chain around optronic and mechanical engineering.

More broadly, Elynxo’s growth integrates a keen understanding of its environment, such as considering stakeholders’ interests to optimize its various processes, improve its financial competitiveness, and control its production quality and deadlines. Developed within the group itself, this approach materializes its commitment to continuous progress and its commitment to making social, economic, and environmental responsibility an integral part of its development.

The Elynxo group thus strengthens its ability to anticipate, support, and respond to the expectations of its customers and those of new markets.

Jean Soleille, CEO of Elynxo, comments: “This change of name for our group is part of the continuity of the strategy deployed since late 2015, which aims to establish a French intermediate-sized industrial excellence hub around optronics. A first stage of transformation successfully achieved between 2016 and 2018 allowed us to build a very good level of industrial base positioned throughout the life cycle of our products. Based on this, we have pursued in recent years both organic and external growth projects. This new identity will allow us to pursue our strategy even more dynamically and assertively through renewed communication, aligning with the societal and environmental challenges of our time and resolutely looking towards the future.
